Undergraduate Outreach

The implications of the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the undergraduate outreach efforts significantly. But despite all odds, the Outreach team was able to connect and engage with over 980 schools across 185 cities and 27 Indian states in the academic cycle 2020-21.

We were able to deliver online sessions to high school students on Liberal Education and Ashoka's Undergraduate Programme, workshops by Ashoka faculty, Admissions Guidance and virtual career fairs.

The year also witnessed a huge digital transformation as we introduced new digital properties such as the Scientifically Speaking Lectures delivered by world-renowned scientists that was attended by 12,500+ high school students and teachers, the Undergraduate webinar series attended by approximately 14,000 prospective students and parents, Subject-specific webinars delivered for Ashoka faculty and attended by 1,350+ students across India.

We launched the Future of Schools: K-12 Conference in June 2020 to discuss the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the K-12 education system which was attended live by 45,000+ people from the K-12 community.
